One of the most fun and interesting projects I've ever had the pleasure of working on is the iPhone game called Reflexion. It is an Arkanoid-type game where you can draw the paddle to bounce the ball and break bricks, or in this case, gems.
The game is developed by the really talented application developers at Seattle-based Trileet. It is rife with features such as slow motion by shaking the phone, arcade vs puzzle mode, unique powerups, build-your-own levels, share and play with friends, and many more. During summer, Reflexion was featured in the "New and Noteworthy" section on the iTunes App Store and one of the best Brick Breaker games in the catalog.
I was responsible for creating the look and feel, interface design, most of the game elements, animations, and the introductory bumper video that plays before the game loads. Its visual roughness complements the smoother, colorful popping gems, and the challenging gameplay.

I am Ryan Co. Born in the Philippines and graduated with honors in Manila at the University of Santo Tomas, with Bachelor's in Fine Arts, major in Advertising Arts. Based in Michigan I am currently a Senior Designer at Big Communications creating interactive interfaces, Flash motion pieces, visual themes, and identities. I also freelance for various types of projects - mobile app and game interfaces, music videos, Flash modules, brand identities, and print design. I am responsible for the design, animation, and art direction of almost all the projects featured in this portfolio.
